Camping with Carol and Nathan!

So what have we been doing this summer well 8/22 I brougt Ayden camping for the first time. He absolutely loved it. We went with Carol an Nate and had a blast with them. I loved that fact that Carol and I got in some good friend time. Ayden loved that fact that he got to run everywhere. They got to play games and Ayden got to spend time with his cousins even though now he has added some that aren't really his cousins but I think that he thought everyone was his family. It was just great. I am just so glad that I got to spend that time with Ayden.

I'm Turning 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is when Ayden was born. I woke up at about 11:30pm 7/28/05 and my water was breaking. I tell you it was the weirdest but coolest feeling ever. I woke up Kevin while I was running to the bathroom. He quickly got on the phone to the hospital (Unity) to find out if we should come in right away. I was laughing. I knew the time was coming when I was finally going to meet my baby. I drove to the hospital... we got there and check in. During that time it was already the 29th. I asked what the date was, when I told I realized that Ayden as born on my dad's birthday... Funny. So finally at about 5:30 am the nurse came in to tell me that they were going to try to speed things up with some good ole Pitocin (hate that stuff) to get me to have contractions. I had Kevin, Carrie (my sister), Addie (my sister) and Renee (Kevin's sister) all in the room with me. I made some cry and others think twice about having kids (Addie). I was begging for an epidural. I still was not dialated to 4 yet. That was at about 3pm on the 29th. Finally the doctor came in and new that there was something going on. For all those hours in hard labor I was not dialating to anything. The doctor then decided to do an emergency c-section. I got my epidural and I felt so good after that... I remember the nurse asking me if I was ok after the epidural and I love I couldn't feel anything and that was great. :) They had decided that Ayden was caught on something but unsure of what really. Into surgery I went. Kevin was admitted in. Everyone else waited. By that time my mom was there too. 7:56pm 7/29/05 Ayden Timothy Peterson was born to Parents Lynn and Kevin Peterson and sister Hanna Peterson.

I don't think that I have ever been happier in my whole life. There has been happy very happy moments in my life but the moment that you have a child and you look at that childs face.... There is nothing like that feeling.

Milestones before he was 1 years old were~
He started crawling at about 5 months old.
Walking about 9.5 months old

Ayden was about a year old here. I don't have the actually picture yet. Grandma Peterson is looking for one for me. I didn't have a digital at that time.

This is when I turned 2 years old and my whole family celebrated with me.
I learned how to ride a bike when I was 2.
I could climb a fence at 2.
I am a man on the go and no one can hold me down :)

Now this month I am going to turn 3 years old.....OH BOY!!!!

Ayden is turning 3 years old on July 29......

Here are some pictures of his big moments

I guess as close are siblings can get. We call each other. If we haven't heard from one of us then we call. Its usually Tim that we have to call. We like getting together and getting our kids together. I just want to say how much I care and love them

Lately

I know I know I really should be more active. Its summer all Ayden wants to do is be outside and when we do have to be in the house its "Play Game" so here I am adding a post at work...LOL

So what has been going on lately... My little sister graduated from High School and will be starting College in the fall. I am very very proud of her. Dang I still have to give her the card that Ayden and I forgot to give at the party. OPPS!

I am have to start working out again..... YMCA here I come.

So I took Ayden to the Columbia Heights Carnival and he had a blast. He rode on 2 rides (that is our limit). Then we played with the boys. We went with, Carol, Nathan, Mo, Sue, Theresa and Travis. It was so much fun and Ayden had a blast with everyone. Then 10 on the dot the fireworks started and my wonderful little fun loving boy turned into this scared, crying, wanting to go home little boy. I felt so bad and if I could have found everything I would have just left but it was dark and everything was everywhere. So Ayden and I laid under the blanket holding each other until all the BANGS, BOOMS, and Whistles stopped. Then he was fine again.. Oh yeah I don't think that I told Carol this but he asked me if I liked Carol and Sue and I said YES and he said I LOVE THEM....LOL I think it was all the cookies, gum, reeses peanut butter cups and chips that they gave him....LOL All in all he had a great time.

The next day we went to Kevin's parents house to hang out with them. We ended up going to the Blazin 4th... another carnival. Ayden got to go on 3 rides because Grandpa got him tickets...LOL

Pictures are included...LOL

Live Laugh Love

We have been doing a lot of things outside lately, at least when its not raining out which it has been for a while. Carrie found a wagon in her garage and gave it to Ayden and now that is what he has been playing with and that is what we have been taking to the park. Today its raining so no park and ourside time. I think that I am going to have Ayden do some painting to keep him busy. His favorite character GEORGE.... everything is George.

Things are going good for us. We are hoping that the weather changes here and we will get to get some pool time going here.... I don't know its June already and it hasn't even reached 90 yet.. Please Summer give us some sun :)

Perfect!

So I was laying down with Ayden the other night. This is something that has became a bad habit but as much at I say that I hate doing it and that Ayden has to become a big boy sooner then later I really do love it too. Anyways I was laying there and Ayden was next to me and he looks at me and says "Mommy I want to play Hockey" I have to think about where that came from. We were not talking about hockey or anything even similar to that. Then he smiled and said "I love you" He is just perfect I thought to myself as his eyes slowly began to close. He has been fighting sleep lately. It is not something that he really enjoys now that the weather is getting nicer. Ayden is the type of little boy that every other mom hopes that she does not get :) He is wild, full of life, always on the move. There is never a dull moment with him. He is stubborn (takes after both parents there), opinionated, have the Mulligan laugh, and a normal 2 (going on 3)year old and in the eyes of this mother he is simply perfect.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to raise such a wonderful little guy.

North Dakota!!

We went to North Dakota this last weekend. It was our first trip with the kids since Ayden was born. So almost 3 years. We figured it was time and we were in need of some away from home time. Friday morning we packed up the car, snacks, movies and kids.... and on our 4 hour voyage. The car trip was great. The kids watched movies and Ayden took a nap. No fighting and yelling just peace. Katie my sister in law was graduating College so the is why we chose Fargo North Dakota. We are so proud of her. It was fun. Ayden got a little antsy waiting for the cereomny to start so we went outside.... It was a nice day. After that was all said and done, Katie got her dipomia we went back to our hotel and checked in. The kids were ready for swimming but first we had to meet everyone for dinner. It was good and the kids were ok.... but it was such a busy and long day that I felt bad for them and we left we go swimming at the hotel. I actually drank 2 cans of beer. For those that just don't know me very well that is a great accomplishment because again since Ayden has been born I don't get out to drink (not that I was big on it anyways). Saturday we hung out.... Then the rest of the crew came and we celebrated Mothers Day, Hanna's birthday and Tylers Birthday. It was nice and the kids had a blast. We then all went for Chinese at this really nice buffet. It was good. We went back to take the kids swimming oh yeah and at our hotel we had mini golf in-doors. All in all our trip was great but like all trips they have to come to an end and it was great coming home and sleeping in my own bed. Thanks to Katie and Josh for a wonderful time.
