Live Laugh Love

We have been doing a lot of things outside lately, at least when its not raining out which it has been for a while. Carrie found a wagon in her garage and gave it to Ayden and now that is what he has been playing with and that is what we have been taking to the park. Today its raining so no park and ourside time. I think that I am going to have Ayden do some painting to keep him busy. His favorite character GEORGE.... everything is George.

Things are going good for us. We are hoping that the weather changes here and we will get to get some pool time going here.... I don't know its June already and it hasn't even reached 90 yet.. Please Summer give us some sun :)

Perfect!

So I was laying down with Ayden the other night. This is something that has became a bad habit but as much at I say that I hate doing it and that Ayden has to become a big boy sooner then later I really do love it too. Anyways I was laying there and Ayden was next to me and he looks at me and says "Mommy I want to play Hockey" I have to think about where that came from. We were not talking about hockey or anything even similar to that. Then he smiled and said "I love you" He is just perfect I thought to myself as his eyes slowly began to close. He has been fighting sleep lately. It is not something that he really enjoys now that the weather is getting nicer. Ayden is the type of little boy that every other mom hopes that she does not get :) He is wild, full of life, always on the move. There is never a dull moment with him. He is stubborn (takes after both parents there), opinionated, have the Mulligan laugh, and a normal 2 (going on 3)year old and in the eyes of this mother he is simply perfect.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to raise such a wonderful little guy.

North Dakota!!

We went to North Dakota this last weekend. It was our first trip with the kids since Ayden was born. So almost 3 years. We figured it was time and we were in need of some away from home time. Friday morning we packed up the car, snacks, movies and kids.... and on our 4 hour voyage. The car trip was great. The kids watched movies and Ayden took a nap. No fighting and yelling just peace. Katie my sister in law was graduating College so the is why we chose Fargo North Dakota. We are so proud of her. It was fun. Ayden got a little antsy waiting for the cereomny to start so we went outside.... It was a nice day. After that was all said and done, Katie got her dipomia we went back to our hotel and checked in. The kids were ready for swimming but first we had to meet everyone for dinner. It was good and the kids were ok.... but it was such a busy and long day that I felt bad for them and we left we go swimming at the hotel. I actually drank 2 cans of beer. For those that just don't know me very well that is a great accomplishment because again since Ayden has been born I don't get out to drink (not that I was big on it anyways). Saturday we hung out.... Then the rest of the crew came and we celebrated Mothers Day, Hanna's birthday and Tylers Birthday. It was nice and the kids had a blast. We then all went for Chinese at this really nice buffet. It was good. We went back to take the kids swimming oh yeah and at our hotel we had mini golf in-doors. All in all our trip was great but like all trips they have to come to an end and it was great coming home and sleeping in my own bed. Thanks to Katie and Josh for a wonderful time.

Cousins

Ayden loves his cousins so much. I think that there are times when he would rather be there... they live on 5 acres in the county and mom doesn't have to watch him so closely...LOL The other night they came over and every time they come over or we go there I can't believe how much they have grown.... I remember and came running after every birth. For Hannah I was there in the room, Livvy and Sophie I drove up from Milwaukee after Carrie told me that they were here. Ethan I actually got to watch Carrie's kids.....They were my kids too in my eyes.... I didn't have Ayden until ethan was about a year old... So Carrie's kids were always my kids and I spoiled them rotten and I loved it.

Here they are all grown up.... well Ayden (almost 3) Livvy (almost 7) Sophie (5) Ethan (4) (Yeah I know my sister was one busy girl)

Funny Things my kids have said

Hanna~ I am going to graduate, go to college, have a baby and get married (I just hope not all in the order)...LOL

Ayden~ Daddy farted, let me smell.

Hanna~ I want to get married but I never want to have to kiss anyone.

I love the fact that they are really starting to be like brother and sister....
Hanna will yell that Ayden is touching her when really he is about an inch from touching her.

Hanna believes that Ayden should share all his toys with her but she should never have to share her toys with him...

Hanna has started the You love him more......If she only knew that he gets punished more then she does.

Friday

I am so happy that its Friday today. Its kind of weird because I am sitting and helping out the old area that I used to work for. I am at the front desk and now everyone can see me and when they walk in I am the first person that they see. I know in the past I loved this but now I think that I got so used to working at my own little desk and my god the quiet of it all. Its so loud and noisy here...LOL I am sure that for this day I will survive. My old area went to a all staff meeting so I was called in because I know the information that they use....yaaa me!!! I am glad that I could be of service...

So as I said its Friday and I can't wait for this day to be over. I can't wait to go home. I can't wait to pick Ayden up at daycare. I am not feeling up to par today... sore throat and stuff.... and my dones ache...YUCK!!!!

Crazy Silly Kid

So Ayden has this smile that I just can not get enough of... I think that its so funny everytime he does it. Believe me he does it all the time. I can't wait to get the kids pictures done again.

I am really trying to be good and do this blog as much as possible.
Ayden's new word is "Ebber" meaning in Ayden's language "Ever" he is forever yelling it to get his point across. I love it and will say it back to him and then try to correct him. I don't want him to make his own language and then get used to saying the wrong word. He is talking and you can understand him more and more.

Oh yeah as you can see in the pictures he does not have shoes on but they are around there somewhere.
